Solo había hablado con Theresa por Skype, pero Dennis y yo ya habíamos compartido algunos cafes planeando su sesión de novios y de bodas.
La verdad es que siempre me emociono con mis sesiones, siento que la gente es muy amable al dejarme capturar algo tan personal como el amor que comparten entre ellos. Cada pareja, cada familia es tan diferente, y es tan lindo poder capturar esas cualidades únicas.
Con Theresa, sentí que hubo una buena comunicación desde el inicio. No se trataba de conocer por primera vez a una persona, sino ver en persona a una amiga.
Todavía hacía un poco de frío en aquella época, pero aún así el cielo gris de Lima fue un difusor de luz excelente. Theresa y Dennis estaban super emocionados y listos, y así empezamos. Tan sueltos, tan naturales, tan graciosos.
Luego Theresa sacó unos props que había hecho para sus invitados de la boda, pero aprovecho para traerlos y usarlos en sus fotos. Unas tomas por aquí, otras por allá, y esto fue lo que resultó.

The truth is that I always get super excited about my photo shoots, i feel that people are so nice by letting me capture something so personal like the love they share with one another. Every couple, every family, is so different, and it's so nice to be able to capture those unique qualities.
With Theresa, i felt like we had great communication from the very beginning. It wasnt about meeting a person for the first time, but meeting in person with a friend.
It was still a little cold back in those days, yet the grey sky of Lima behaved like the perfect light diffuser. Theresa & Dennis were super excited and ready, so we started. So natural, so easy going, so funny.
Then Theresa got some props out that she made for her wedding reception and wanted to get some pics with them for the photo shoot. A few shoots here, a few others there, and this was our result.
